A fresh start with momentum
Requirements for the job
You can join N3 even without previous experience in aviation – what counts is manual dexterity and a willingness to learn. From day one, you will receive structured training, have a designated contact person and be part of a team that supports and encourages you. If you are motivated and open to new ideas, you will be trained step by step and quickly realise that the change was worth it.
Your gateway to an exciting future
Check-In
Take off together – your ticket to a career in aviation
N3 is the right place for people who enjoy hands-on work, taking responsibility and developing themselves. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in a manual or technical field, such as metalworking, production control or quality assurance.
Those who work as machine and plant operators, motor vehicle mechanics or industrial mechanics often have exactly the right qualifications. It's not about having the perfect CV, but about reliability, precision and a willingness to learn and work with a team of specialists from different backgrounds.
Experience in qualification
Since 2006, we have been supporting people who want to change careers – and have developed a programme that works. We focus specifically on skilled workers with a technical or manual background, for example in metalworking, production, maintenance or the automotive sector.
We place particular emphasis on practical training and instruction in metalworking and on understanding technical documentation, including in English. This is unfamiliar to many employees at first, but we repeatedly see how quickly uncertainty turns into motivation once they get the hang of things.
Open to all CVs
Our experience shows that anyone who has technical skills, precision and team spirit can successfully make the switch to N3 – regardless of their previous professional background.
We are particularly proud that many of our current specialists joined us through this programme. Some of them are now specialists in specific engine modules or pass on their knowledge as trainers. We know that such a step requires courage. That is why we ensure that no one has to take it alone. Our career changers are supported by a strong team – from their initial introduction to working independently on the engine.
Do you speak English?
Yes, a little bit! That's perfectly fine. Our internal qualification programmes focus not only on technical and social development, but also on language skills. No one is expected to speak perfect English. However, anyone who would like to improve their language skills in a course or using digital learning resources and learn English technical terms is in the right place with us.
Our trainers, language coaches and tutors will help you develop your language skills so that you will soon be able to correctly name different engine components. All you need is the willingness to participate.

How to make a successful career change
A move into aviation technology is more than just a new job – it is the gateway to a clearly structured, challenging environment. To ensure that this step is a successful one, new employees at N3 undergo a structured qualification programme that prepares them for everyday working life, both professionally and personally.
What we offer is not a crash course, but a well-founded path into a new career field.
Over the years, we have developed a structured training system that combines theory and practice in a meaningful way. In the first few weeks, we teach basic knowledge – for example, about engine technology, work processes and the requirements of aviation authorities. At the same time, trainees attend training workshops, accompanied by experienced trainers who address individual strengths and questions.
Ready for boarding
The programme content in brief
The programme begins with an introduction to the basics: aviation-specific safety topics, an intensive course in technical English and an understanding of the special requirements for quality, precision and team responsibility.
This is followed by a systematic combination of theory and practice – from working with technical documentation and the proper use of tools and measuring equipment to practical work on engine modules. The content is clearly structured, practical and taught by experienced trainers. After three months, trainees transition to their specialist department, accompanied by individual support from tutors and the team. This creates a working environment in which new employees, especially those from other industries, can settle in confidently, grow professionally and take on responsibility.
